Well youll be covered by Vauxhall's standard manufactures warranty still until at least 09 so why would they put a Network Q warranty on a car that has a years worth of Vauxhall warranty.

I've just had a look at Drive's website and it doesn't seem to indicate that ALL it's used cars are Network Q...Obviously it bangs on about the benefits for those that are.

Because the car has less than a year to go before it's third birthday that's probably why it's not Network Q. However, it will come with the balance of the manufacturer's three year warranty and, I think, a standard three month used car warranty that you would get with any (non trade) used car from any reputable dealer.

We had exactly the same on our 05 Galaxy bought last April from a Ford main dealer, it wasn't "Ford Direct" as such. It didn't worry me - any problems and I'd be straight back to them anyway.

Have you had a problem with the car that's not covered by the mfg warranty?

In answer to Kieron, when I bought my car at 5 months old it had the balance of the 3 year mfg warranty and they also gave me 1 year's Network Q warranty from date of purchase.

I effectively had two warranties in place for my first year of ownership (not that I needed to use either of them)

My car was nearly 3 years old when I got it, it still had Net Q warranty on it.

My Vec was 11 months old when I bought it.

They did the brake pads before they sold it to me as they said they would have to replace under Network Q warranty as there wasn't a lot of life left. Also did my CD30 radio under manufacturers warranty in year 3!

I bought my car from Drive Vauxhall Bristol North. I did get all the net Q paperwork through for the warranty + option to extend warranty.

All Drive dealers are owned by Drive, so should be all the same.

Has it got Network Q stickers on the car? Did you get a certificate/paperwork from Network Q when you picked up the car? If not why didn't you ask the salesman?

I too would be under the impression that you would get a 12 month Network Q warranty in addition the balance of the manufacturers warranty.

i purchased the car on the net it was delivered to me i rang them a couple of weeks ago the salesman who i was dealing with said this was a oversight and there admin dept will sort it out so yesterday i rang network q and they told me they had no record of my car so i rang drive back it was the salesmans day of so i spoke to there admin dept who then told me because of the age of the car they dont put a network q warranty they just do a network q check i then spoke to the sales manager who confirmed this if you go to there web site and click on used cars you assume the car will have a fully comp warranty its very misleading i explained to there sales manager that i had a good case trading standards, my car has three network q stickers on it and mat covers he said i had no case i disagree do you thik i am being unreasonable i dont i just feel ripped off
