Just picked my son up from school and was pulling out of the road we park on when a young lad runs straight onto the road in front of me, didnt have time to check my rear view mirror I just had to break. Fortunately I missed the kid and fortunatley nothing was behind me but I am still shook up about it now - my worst nightmare would be to hit someone, especially a kid.

I bang it into my kids heads that cars kill, always stop, look and listen...I am sure this kids parent do the same but you cant rely on them to always have 100% concentration and attention.

I called the school to ask them to have a word with him tomorrow, I didnt get the chance as he legged it...no doubt pretty stunned himself.

Would feel the same if I hit a kid and couldn't imagine what I'd if someone hit my child, when she can actually walk LOL. At least nothing happened

Good point, well if he doesnt get himself killed by another car over the weekend then hopefully they can talk to him on Monday
