Default Money's tight times are hard love my coupe cant bear to part!

Looking for a job at moment and the coupe loves drinking more than I do. I currently do not have a job and most of the jobs that are coming up are 16 miles away and I doubt I can afford the petrol everyday and back. Don't know what to do, keep her, sell her, swap her for a 2.0 or 2.2, swap her for another car etc. I wanna keep her cos I spent loads on getting her almost perfect. She goes in next week for a driveshaft. Then Tax and mot are due end of Aug. Like I say the more work I do to her the more I keep losing out, I paid over the odds for her of £2900 in Jan and now shes worth £2400 in my opinion? what do you guys think I should do. I want to keep her but Im not sure its viable with a job outta town.

I would think it's worth more than £2400. From your avatar picture it looks smart . I am sure you will be able to keep it some how..

Driving like a nun is a good idea in theory but with the V6 and the lovely sound it dont really happen, im not a nutter etc but I like to hear it around 3000 rpm. Diesel is likely to get more expensive so something like a 1.8 or lower may do the trick.

yea they will both get more expensive but now there isnt really alot in it. they subsidised diesel now they dont. with the current economic state why are the car companys NOT bringing out hybrids etc. they can but wont!! why? do we have more fuel than first thought? Oh and Saudi Arabia arent sure what to do with the BILLIONS of pounds they squandered.... so they will build SIX...... YES SIX mega citys!!!!! I Hate this government, dont even try to tell me about global warming and we should all do our bit. The world has been heating up since day one. If our cars are polluting so much why arent they banned like smoking in public, thats banned for the benefit of non smokers like myself, not that I give a toss cos it doesnt affect me as I dont drink either. It infuriates me!
