    Default A very sad day :(

    I have discovered that my drivers window creeks when half open and my drivers seat squeeks and creeks

    its only a 56 plate its made me ****** annoyed and for a few moments i thought about getting rid

    any ideas on my window or even my seat?

    I don't know if it is true or not but the build quality of newer models compared to the older is not the best. Supposedly

    have you tried spraying wd40 on the window rubbers and on the springs on the seats

    take it back to the dealer's imo mate, still under warranty so get them to sort it out

    i was thinking about WD40 but to be honest i didnt fancy spraying that all over the seat having it drip on to my carpets etc. its not the window rubbers its the actual window

    Dont do wd40, it did this on a vectra-b and it make it worse, take the panel off and grease the actual rollers and the bototm end of the window sliders, one each side, shoudl do the trick, worked for me!

    its in warranty, do what I did, take it back and let them fit a new seat base and window motor....(had the same sounding fault on my 03 Dti)

    if its under warranty then take it back - esp for the seat. In regards to the window WD40 worked on my Vec-B, I bet thats all the stealers will do anyway...

    When you've got the window half way down to where you want it, just tap the 'Up' on the window switch so it takes the strain off the window regulator.
