    Default Richbrook door pins problem?

    Hi all,

Ive just fitted a full set of Richbrook door pins but the rear two are sitting higher than the front, it looks like they are open when in the locked position. Is this normal??

Probably a stupid question, but will they not screw in anymore?

The wires they sit on are bent, preventing them from going any lower. I raised my front ones to match the rear on mine

Would it not be worth changing the wires? Or even making a custom bend in them to sit lover?

    Ahh I see,

was just contemplating getting the drill out to deepen the hole!!

Although I might get out the saw and chop the bottom off them now so they match the front, I prefer the lower front ones.

    Cheers for the help.

I think some others have sawn the bottom off theirs too.

I'm a little lazy though and raising the fronts was easier

I also raised mine to match the fronts.
They may sit too high for some people, but I've got it so the vx griffin is seen with the doors locked.

I was a bit unhappy with the height of the rear one's and was contemplating shortening the rod they attach to, Has anyone tried this?

Hmmm, I had the same issue except not with richbrook. I raised the front to match. Shortening the rod might be a good idea.
