Wet passenger footwell

I have found the flap and felt down into the gap and found only 1 large(ish) oval shaped hole. Could feel down into the hole. Didn't seem too full of anything. Maybe best look with a torch in the morning

If you look beneath the oval hole there should be a rubber tube where the water drains out. I believe its somewhere behind the ABS module/servo thingy which is behind the battery. It gets clogged up with dirt and leaveves etc. You should be able to clean it out with your finger. Hope this helps

Yes lift the bonnet.
running left to right, about 6 inches from the windscreen wipers, you'll see a long strip of black rubber gasket that easily lifts off. That gives you access to a flap which you can lift up, and that looks into the cavity where the rainwater runs from the windscreens. If there is lying water in there, then that has probably run back through the air conditioning into the footwell. Feel about at the bottom and locate the drainage holes and unblock them. you shouod be as right as ninepence after that. Let me now how you get on.

I had the same problem last year with my 3.2 V6. Main stealers told me to take it to a windscreen fitters. OK, I said. What could they do, I thought ????. Hello Sir, How can I help you?? Told him of the problem. Easy he said. As others have said, after clearing the drains of leaves etc, he cut off the narrow part of the rubber pipe, thus widening the outflow !! Simple eh.Pair of scissors needed! Raid the wifes sewing box !!!!!
