    Talking My ar5e is intact

Following on from this thread http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=51945 I drove down to ExhaustsUK with my pipes hangin on by tie wraps so they could fit new rubbers. While i was there i was thinking about having some different tailpipes (as the others needed centralising anyway. So nice man says "yeah! , no problem 100 quid inc " for VXR type.I could nt justify the outlay as well as prefering my own pipes so i said "just quote me for repositioning existing tailepipes" to which he replies "yeah m8! no problem 95 quid ""you ve just quoted me 100 quid for 2 new uns" " hour n halfs labour m8" "" then i left.He wanted to cut the ******s off and reweld em.Long story short , i went to a local Challenger for advice an the nice man did it me for £15 but gave him £20 top man. Here s pics

    BEFORE

AFTER -4 new rubbers and a bit of bending =15 mins

Anything for a quick buck, like I have said in another thread, all the garages think that everyone who goes to the garage is either blind or a blonde....no offence. Absolute pee take, but looking much better anyhow. Well played.

Just goes to prove it pays to shop around!
