Right i have just had the Vec C show plates delivered (Very quick service) the question i have they did not come with any fixings.
So what would the best way to secure them?

Well if you don't have something like an irmscher plate holder i would use small squares of velcro to stick them over your plates when on the stand, but remember to remove them before leaving

I just use the sticky velcro Phil. Put one part of the velcro on the back of the show plates and the other part on your existing plates and then line up the velcro bits and voila!
If your current plates are screwed on, you could, if you wanted, drill the show plates and fix them on instead of your standard plates, but obviously it'd mean drilling your showplates which I know I wouldn't want to.
EDIT: Just saw Baz's post. That's what I used to use but they were never strong enough to hold it for a show without dropping off, so I then used longer strips of the same sort of stuff. Problem was it's a to then get off the plates on the car! This year I tried the self-adhesive velcro method and it sticks to the plates securely enough but peels off easily enough too.
Thanks for that. Looks like a trip into town is needed
