If it's an '03' reg SXI, it should be the same bumper as mine originally was (LS / Elite style bumper)
I thought about getting the valance & making it fit as well, but it fits over the removable lower part of the bumper.
It would need securing / strengthening to keep it in position. Also you may not be able to fit the diffuser to that bumper.

I managed to get an SRI bumper, bit of repair & repaint & go down that route instead.

i was advised it wont look as good. all i want is to put the exhaust on! never had this agro before. if i cut the valance, will there be a problem with the heat (dont want it to melt) or does a heat shield have to go on?

we cut dunham1979's last sunday on his.... (look for his pic's) to fit his new magnex exhaust, they dont get that hot and if you cut about an extra 10mm then there will be plenty of room

Later SXi's 54 onwards will be visually identical to the SRi.

chrisk318 if you contact Paul user name pmw123 he has had a vxr valance and insert bOnded onto his bumper that is the same as yours.

I have seen it in the flesh and you cant tell the difference, looking underneath he cut out the places for the exhaust to come through.

    It looks like this
