Default Trying Big Brake upgrade to 324mm

Ok, having looked at various options for brakes, I am going somewhere to see if a certain brake kit will fit my car. The standard brakes on vectra sri's are poo!
Going to try 4 pot 324mm x 24mm brake kit. If it all works out then i'll post pics up here friday evening and let you know where and how much it cost plus full details.
    Cheers,
    Mike

Good luck might be a nice alternative between 314 and 345's

No. Can't say yet as the place fitting them for me has 4 options to try so we're not sure. No guarantee they'll fit yet but worth a try. I can say they will be more expensive than the ones supplied by LMF but after reading about all of the different options out there, I feel this is the way to go, and wanting something which looks the part, i'm prepared to pay a little more for them. Should be well under £1k tho.
All very well going quickly but standard sri brakes are shocking.

ok, so a change of plan again! Let down on the brakes front but I can say I have ordered the LMF upgrade to drilled 314's now. Hopefully fit them friday. Not sure what colour to do the calipers though. Black? Red? I think Black will probably look best.

Could never understand why VX fit 285mm front disks to the 1.9CDTI's, unless it was just penny-pinching, especially when you consider how some of the diesel boys on here drive LOL

314's (I had mine upgraded from 302's) are so much better.

To be honest I never really took much notice of the brakes in mine, just thinking they weren't very good (comparing them to the cars i've owned up to now, ie porsches, evo's, cosworths etc etc,) but then I drove my mates astra and nearly put myself through the front windscreen using same brake pedal pressure one day!! That's when I began to realise something was amiss. It's due to the brakes being poor that I have now spent about a grand since buying this newer car last week! Wife will go ape sh*t when she finds out. She'll ask about the dual exhaust, lack of badges, why it sounds and goes faster than it did two weeks ago? LOL
