These are the instructions i used...

    Painting instructions

    1. rub down spoiler p800 then clean
    2. 2 coats of primer
    3. leave primer to dry over night
    4. rub down primer with p800 then clean(can finish with p1200 is you wish)
    5. clean and dry then use tack cloth to remove all dust
    6. two coats of lightening silver leave to dry between coats(approx 5 mins)
    7. light coat of lightening silver from further away leave to dry (10 mins)
    8. DO NOT FLAT
    9. lightly go over with tack cloth
    10. several coats of laquer(first being half a coat for next coat to grip to)
11.leave a couple of week to set fully
    12. flat lighty with p2000 to remove any imperfections(stay clear of edges)
    13. polish with rubbing compound like g3(not t-cut)
    14. polish job done

Hope that helps in some way.....

Cheers for offer Rich , Just done it. Colour seems a little lighter but the bumper is a little darker than rest of car. However i think it`s perfectly acceptable , just got to get the exhaust rubbers replaced @ ExhaustsUK tomorrow (had to cut em off to get diffuser on) and maybe bring the tailpipes a tad closer together but on the whole i`m happy. Also need to polish in a week or two. Here s a couple of pics but bear in mind the exausts are now held on by industrial strength tie wraps

Looks Great & if the Tail pipes need to be further in when the New rubbers are fitted, You can always give the mounting brackets on the exhaust Cans a tweak
