Question Best products for Ultra Blue?

I've got no idea what condition the paintwork's going to be in on this new car, but hopefully at only 2 years old it won't be too bad.

I currently use AG SRP, AG EGP and 3D blue paste wax on my star silver estate, and I'm always pleased with the results, especially the 3D wax. I don't really want to spend vast amounts on new stuff, but would anything else be noticeably better on a darker car?

I was thinking along the lines of AG Ultra Deep Shine or similar....

What you're using would also give a nice finish on the Ultra Blue. I started off using the AG SRP and EGP on mine. I've never tried the 3d wax you mention as I use Collinte 476s and that works really nicely on UB.

I switched to Megs polish and #21 sealant followed by the Collinte and that works superbly. Recently I gave the Zaino Z8 stuff a shot. You can put it on after the wax as it's not meant as a long-term finish. For shows, or just when you want the car to really zing, it works superbly!! It doesn't last long but it's not designed too, it's designed to give a superb short term really deep and wet finish to the car.

The AG Ultra Deep Shine is possibly a similar thing.

You can stick to the products you already use and achieve good results, as Duncan suggested the Zaino Z8 is great stuff and will add a certain depth to the gloss short term, apply after you have washed and dried your car

worth considering for better looks are Zaino Z2, 2-3 applications about 24 hrs apart, if you want to apply sooner you need to use the ZFX Kit, use Z6 as a QD between applications and top with Z8, you'll find these products at www.cleanyourcar.co.uk

I did a swirl busting polish on a mates astra last weekend with meguiars #80 and dodo superntural it looked awesome. get the prep right with a nice deep shine and any wax will finish it off well. have a go with what you have and see how it performs.
