    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : SRI NAV XP

    Engine : 1.9 CDTI 150

    Year : 2007

    Mileage : 72K

    Default

    1.8t = 148 bhp
    2.0t = 173 bhp (same as VX 2.0T)
    2.0T Aero = 207 bhp

    The 2.0T Aero is more luxurious and better specced than the other two (with a price to match)

    Loadsastreetcred for loadsamoney Looks the part to be fair.

    Probably looking at the Vector trim level, but not really keen on leather, so still undecided on trim level too..

    If it's the later SS (2002 on) you are looking at then i'd go for the 1.8t in Vector trim (and upgraded stereo system if you can find one) with the BSR remap up to 204bhp

    what ultimately put me off getting the saab was the lack of spec and how much you had to pay to get a specced out one. hence i ended up getting the vectra. must admit tho the 93 i took on loan for a few days had absolutely fantastic seats in it. sooooo comfy. parchement leather looks the part and the rear wheel steering is very nice too makes the whole bus seem really light for cornering.
    i loved it, but just couldnt justify 14995 for a 2 year old motor versus what i paid for a practically new verctra loaded with all the goodies and 46000 miles less.

    The build quality put me off a bit.

    I loved the styling of them & they drove nice, but they didn't seem as well screwed together as a vec.

    If you have one I don't think you'll be disappointed though.

    They're not as well screwed together that's for sure. For the money i'd have wanted better quality. That's the main reason for getting rid of mine. The Vec's/Signums i've had have never squeaked or rattled once. The Saab was full of them

    Have looked at Saab a couple of times and totally agree. I think it's probably a good upgrade for any Vec Owner and at least in the areas I've lived in, some good independent specialists to look after them!. Is there a Saab forum as friendly and as helpful as this one though Ste?

    I would be looking for a later model, something like an 06 to give a years manufacturers warranty left.
