    Is this boat still on the beach at Balackpool???
    Not being keeping up with current affairs lately and just wondered what happened to it?

    i was reading a article in a shipping mag about it.apparently the ship is a total loss,so plans have been set up to break the ship up on the beach

    Saw it there a month or so ago - they'd started chopping it up. Was already almost half sunk in the sand...

    yes half of it is still here, they are working around the tides to cut it all up, quite a lenghty process, they even do it at night!
