Eek Scuffed leather in car? help

hello i borrowed my mate Saab 93 convertible for my sisters prom night. BUT after many hours polishing and detailing ive noticed ive scuffed the side if leather seat with the stud on my jeans. it hasnt pierced it just put a 3inch white scuff in it. his seats are mint, i feel so bad. ive told him ill correct it and he tells me not to worry. but i want to sort it?

any ideas n cost? ive seen repair kits on ebay that talk about using 1500 grit sand paper and a dye? these any good?

by the way the seats are beige/tan if it makes difference?

First of all try a good conditioner such as Gliptone liquid leather, it might sort it without need for sand paper etc. which sounds a bit drastic to me.

I scuffed one of mine & it helped.

Yep Gliptone conditioner is very good. I use it on my motor. Perhaps try a neutral shoe polish too.( or one the same colour as the leather if you can find one).
