When JC was driving one of the cars, think it was the ferrari, i heard him say about vents in the back to stop pressure in the rear wheel arches. I was just wondering how much difference this would make on our vecs?

Yeah it was the Ferrari, the same question had crossed my mind....
Im also missing the left part of the underpan thing that goes under the left foglight, will that affect my speed etc?
Just remember that the Ferrari is mid engined, so the vents may help with cooling etc.
Just a thought !

No he definatly said about the pressure building up in the rear wheel arches and the vents were there to release the pressure. just was thinking if there will be any benefit to us
Not for Vecs or Signums, It's more an issue on your uber sport, super, top trump sort of car at mega high speed on a track.
Bear in mind what he was driving at the time.
Maybe at Ferrari speeds they would be a performance enhancer, but not at what the run of the mill Vectra could ever achieve.
It's the same with spoilers, they're more for cosmetics & don't really do much until about 130mph (dependant on what its fitted to). I remember my mates Escort cossie, he had one without the big rear wing as it actually slowed the cars top speed down due to drag (albeit a very small difference!).
