    Default urgent help needed

    hi today i have a flat i couldnt get the wheel off because the locking nut has seized. dads tried wd40 and force but has rounded the removal tool pattern now and he even got vauxhalls spare master key but it started to round that. any ideas on how i can quickly remove it successfully. someone said about drilling but surely ill dill the thread too. any help is really appreciated

    Sounds like a call to the AA or RAC, or your local tyre dealer.

    ok thanks for ideas im thinking about taking it to vauxhall cause i need the wheel sorted. or could i get a snap on tool tomorrow from somewhere

    Halfords sell a removal tool for a tenner (2 diff sorts - make sure you get the right one), altho it works best with an impact wrench (air gun or an electric/12v DIY one). It'll work unless your locking nuts have the spinning collar (the most secure kind).

    I had the same problem too. Bought a locking nut removal tool (comes in a pack of 2) for a tenner from halfords and they did the trick

    going to go to halfords tomorrow if it doesnt work i think it will be a trip to vauxhall

    So after your 'urgent' request for help you left the car sat with a flat tyre for a day?

    Sorry - anyway, Halfords is by far the cheaper option. If you have breakdown cover give them a call too, it will probably be free. Vx will charge the earth
