Matt - Have you fitted yours ? How long did it take. Any tips and did you do anything with the green aerial wire

I'll probably have a go later on this week.

You can fit both in under 1 hour mate. Just follow my little how2 at the start of this thread. The green wire is for FM transmiter. Only used if you tune the headrests into the stereo to listern to the dvd through the cars speakers.
I just left mine inside the rear of the seat. "i've not tried the fm transmiter" Don't think i'd use that function.

I went a bit mental and bought some 10" TV/DVD's for the car, all way to big for the seats.... individual sets maybe put them back on ebay

I used the red for a live + and the black - as a ground.
I've fitted them yesterday into the new vectra.

All fitted in just less than 1 hour.
    What do you think ????

First i unclipped the side's of the seat back and the 2 elastic straps at the underside of the seat.
Then lift the section up over the seat back retainer.

    Section dropped out.

    This shows centre section retainer.

Slide cable's into headrest arm slots and feed into seat section. Push headrest down into position.

I run the power 12v and ground into rear cig lighter and connected both unit's here.

It's now powered up and working.

    Remove transport card from laser.

Flip front to install DVDs Cd's game's disc etc.

Fitted the leather covers to stop praying eye's.

Both unit's now installed and working.

All covers back on and tided up.

How do you get to lift the cover upwards
As i have loosened all clips at bottom and wont budge
Do i need to remove side plastic panels ??
I know its an old thread but looking for guidance
