Im thinking of changing car soon as we are due our first baby so I want everything settled before I make a decision and the change.
Hate to break the trend, but im certain the misses could do with driving a "smaller" car, although she has no trouble with the Vec-C.
Im considering for my next car:
Option 1: Vec-C, stick to what I know and go for a facelift Diesel, maybe Design/SRI/Elite?
Option 2: Astra G/MK4 DTI/CDTI SRI/Sport or SXI (nothing cack)?
Option 3: Astra H/MK5 Elite/Design/SRI CDTI, "X-pack" or without?
Option 4: (im going to get some stick for this so i'll say it quietly)-Mondeo Zetec-S TDCI?
Option 5: Go back to my beloved Vec-B's, but get a 2.0/2.2 DTI which is well spec'd, quite like the CD/CDX model's!
Option 6: Stick with what I have got now? Love my car and its always a much better car when I come to sell than when I bought. Looks great and feels "together". Have driven some right shed's but this is great!
Dont really like other brands much, have always gone back to Vx's if I have tried anything else, such as Ford/Renault/Rover, etc, etc!
The reason I have looked at Mondeo's is that I love that beefed up look and my dad has had a Mondy in the past, and although I think the Vec is a better car and better spec'd, its just something ive been drawn towards since then!
Dont get me wrong, I hate fords!!
Its always been a case of stick to what I know-Vauxhall's!??! And also I just love the meaty look of the Vx's, regardless of what Jeremy Clarkson thinks of them.
The misses seems to think I have a unhealthy obsession with Vx's, but I just dont feel right making the change. Her words: broaden your horizon, possibly along with !
Anyone else have that problem?
