Nasty surprise....

Got home from work tuesday night to find a very intimidating letter sitting on the doormat..opened it...chuffin heck a fixed penalty notice for jumping a red light in Nottingham..A52 beeston going outbound timed at 15.54 on 5/06/08 in the WORKS van of which i am the regular driver..EXCEPT when i'm on me jollys...took the letter to work, showed it the gaffer,he replied "you'll have to pay it, the fine£60 NOTES PLUS 3 POINTS, HA HA" but then it dawned on me that on the said afternoon i knocked off a bit earlier(dentist)....soooo ?who was driving it then...the look on the bosses face when the penny dropped..".it was f*****n me"..at least he admitted it,could've denied it...my stomach still aches from laughin.

Although a simple confirmation by his dentist that he was sat in their chair at 15:54 with their mouth wide open may have been a good defence!

Ha. Nice that he admitted it regardless of the situation. My license is 100% clean in April. Never plan on getting anything on it ever again!

It Friday tomorrow and I've given myself a day off work. What that means is I've had a can or two of the amber nectar and as such think I am the worlds finest comedian

Ha, I second that, I've got tomorrow booked as a holiday, and I'm more than a couple bottles into the Corona, but even that added Alcohol didn't make me laugh, ha.
