    just a quick one are the engine mounts the same in all veccys as i want to drop a vxr engine in my vec i have a 53 plate 1.8 at the momment

    I wouldn't even go there. the Insurance would be twice the amount of a VXR as well never mind actually trying to put the engine in. Its not the physical fitting its the electrical side of things that makes it hard.

    Physically you will be able to bolt it into any but you will need every wire and electronic bit from the vxr or risk massive problems with stand alone management!
