    Default Money saving tip.

Just renewed the car insurance. Went with KwikFit in the end. Not quite the cheapest at £280 (fully comp) but you get all the little extras like courtesy car etc. Read lots of reviews cos I was a bit wary but they all seem to have good and bad points.

They also give you a £30 voucher to use at their garages. Gonna use mine to have the aircon serviced so that will now cost me about £14!!

Hope this is of use to someone

Every year I get the renewal it always goes up. I go on the MoneySupermarket website and it checks loads of insurers and always gives me a cheaper quote. Even the company that sent me the renewal comes up cheaper. Work that one out

I always try to confuse () the f00k out of Confused.Com.

Each renewal time I whack in my details and it gives me a list of insurers (all usually sky rocket high).

I then call up the cheapest one for a verbal quote and they beat the online quote, yet all details are the exact same!!

I usually say to them how come your price is cheaper over the phone and yet online prices are supposed to be cheaper....especially Confused.Cr4p?? They make some bull5h1t up but its usually a deeper and deeper !!!!

    Confused.com......I certainly am!!!!

Where you live will make a huge difference to insurance prices as well as whether its kept roadside or garaged private road or public highway etc etc

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, tell them its locked away at night in a garage, its cheaper.
Plus tell them you are a vicar who does 2 miles a week, might help...
