How big are the tattoo needles. the ones they on us doners you could almost knit with, DON,T LET ME PUT ANYONE OFF WHO IS THINKING ABOUT GIVING BLOOD, usually I do not feel any pain,and your blood could quite well save a life.
I do and will be 'doing' again this sunday
Have given blood since i joined the Army in may 1984..Theyv'e had a few off of me..
AS above, i wish more people would give..

I used to donate on a regular basis, unfortunately only after having received 6 pints/units as the result of severe head injuries. The rules have now changed and they will no longer take blood from people who have received some so I can no longer donate.
All I can say is that without donors I would be dead so thank you to everyone who takes the time to give.

I can't donate blood because of former health problems, but I would have liked to do my bit. It's a shame really.
Doctors and hospitals have nicked plenty of my blood in the past for various tests, I wish it could be for a more useful purpose.
