    Default Aftermmarket Springs

    Well here we go. Just got back from getting new disc and pads (rear) £235.00 (OK or ripped?) to told that the rear drivers side spring is now broken. Oh joy. The independant I use for repairs quoted £170 for two new springs, local VX garage quoted £243.

    Now the question I have is there a better quality spring (Bilstein?? or similar) which will not lower the ride height .All I have found so far is springs to lower by 30-40mm. I'm not keen on these as I do a lot of towing and dunking the back end in sea water launching the boat. (yes a always rinse it after).

    £235 for discs and pads? Ripoff, I'm afraid... The parts only cost £65+VAT...
