Default Sports Injurys - What have you got?

Well me and big-pete have had similar problems just in different locations due to heavy weightlifting.

And seeing I cant send him the picture of the aftermath, I thought lets see who else has come a cropper and show off my nice piece of NHS art!!

Mine being a trapped ulnar nerve in the left elbow joint.

Just curious to see if any other members have suffered the ill fate of keeping fit!!

Had a re-occuring knee injury since I was about 15, still no solid diagnosis and nowhere near fully fit so I just get on when I can with it. When it does go I'm in a lot of pain, can barely walk and restricted with movement. Not great considering I'm in the Army, but will just go back to the hospital when it happens again and go through everything again

I broke my right hand twice sparring.

The first time it swelled, but I didn't think it was broken. I had a few days off & it seemed ok.

Next time a few months it was an obvious break, there was a nice "golf ball" on the top of my hand, the next day my hand came up bigger than the hulk's!

When xrayed the doctor said that the break was because I'd broken it previously at least once & it had not set right, so the impact wasn't being directed down my arm & had therefore crushed the bones in my hand.

I couldn't train of any sort for 2 months & couldn't do any kind of punching for 6 months.

I haven't sparred since as the injury risk is too much. I couldn't drive or even write properly while the cast was on so the inconvenience was alot!

I still get twinges from it when the weather's cold, but don't suffer any strengh loss or mobility so I was lucky I think.

where to start,3 cracked rips left.
    2 badley bruised rips left.
    1 cracked rip right.
    broken left wrist.
nocked cartelidge out of place in left knee.
    1 broken finger left.
1 broken and 1 badley bruised finger right...
hair line fracture jaw to the right side.
and some one studded me and teared my eye lid.
and was studded acros my face leading to a broken nose and a nice deep cut running from my cheek to my nose.
all just from chasing an egg around a field.

Fell off my Mountain bike Tib+Fib Plateau break = That Scar on BOTH sides of Knee, 13 Pins and 3x6" L shaped plates. Absolute nightmare 18 months recovery and a future knee replacement within 10 years.
