Default Mobile Phone usage whilst Driving !

As the title says, this is now against the law-yes? And you could get 3 Points and a hefty fine for it?

This is really weird becuase I was driving home yesterday and came across this car in front of me, driving exceptionally slow (25-30 in a 40 zone with flowing traffic, ).

I found this quite annoying as I couldnt overtake due to cars in the outside lane. !

Anyhow, when I did, the driver was a woman ( ) who was on her phone and she had a white shirt on with a black strap on the shoulder (like a coppers uniform).

So I got p155ed of & thought I would really like to know if that is a copper, if so, I will take a snap and send to the old bill. .

If it were just anyone, I wouldnt have bothered, a case of see no evil, hear no evil.... !

Anyway, she werent a copper, but it werent much better, her other badge read: "West Midlands Fire Service". SHOCKING!!!

If the authority's cannot go by the book, how can the rest of us?
If she had caused a bad accident, i'd like to see her cut herself out?

I know that probably everyone at some point does, but the authority's?? Should know better?

    PATHETIC TBH, dont you think?

How did you take a pic while driving?

tbh I hate all drivers who are on the phone while moving!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

You would have thought by now people, would have got the message.

I see people talk-driving almost on a daily basis. I keep wanting to drive next to them with the horn blaring, so they can't hear the conversation, but never actually do it.

I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, its like speeding thats the same penalty but you see it everywhere all the time. But then again slipping over the speed limit while driving is a bit different that conciously picking up your phone to your ear when u know u shouldn't, but these people don't care. And of course unless u happen to be a passenger you can't even take a picture of the offender because then you'd be just as bad!

Driving the taxi I see it all the time, really p155e5 me off the amount of people who text while driving as well ...inlcuding lorry drivers who are supposed "knights of the road",
all for the sake of a blue tooth for under £50 quid.
I go along with blast your car horn when you are behind or beside them, but not between 11pm & 7 am coz thats against the law.

She was probably switchboard staff, and just can't switch off after work

I see builders doing it all the time, and as SHR says a slug won't cost a lot, you can get them for less than a tenner.
