Default Getting water stains off chrome?

I find one of the hardest/most annoying parts of cleaning my car is getting the chrome 'V' clean at the front. No matter how much you wipe it with a damp cloth then dry it vigorously you can always see water marks on it.

Has anyone got any tips for getting the chrome nice and shiny without the water stains?

As an aside - Am I th eonly one on here who despises the seal just below the wing mirrors and also the bottoms of the windows and the fact that they seem to be able to retain gallons and gallons of water, releasing it at a steady and constant rate for hours no matter how many times you dry it/blow it away with your mouth etc. Why does that f%&$&$%& stain always run down the car when you turn your back on it for a second?

I usually wash, dry, go for a "quick" drive and then either use the quick detailer or wax it I find it helps remove any water from those nasty to get to areas!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Cheers Big Sig. Never thought of using wax on the chrome. Just normal paintwork wax such as Megs Stage 3 for example?

I have been using window spray, but even that doesn't remove the water stains completely

After the drive I normally go round with a megs drying cloth to wipe the water off. I do tend to use a polish and/or wax on the strips too, after all its just coated plastic. Either AG super resin, or the stage 2/3 megs stuff. Not sure what everyone else uses
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Yeah, I used to do that!

I don't have the Vx chrome grill any more, but I have the chrome strips under the windows and I use a bit oF QD or even polish and it removes any water marks.

Yeah I also drive around our block after the first drying (I also use a Megs Water Magnet) giving it the beans to get rid of the god damn water that hangs in the seals. It's still there though. Enough water to refill every ocean on the planet lives in my seals after washing.

Will try the polish or wax on the chrome. Thanks guys
