Huh?! I had mine done on a Hunter unit earlier this year and no problems with measuring from the hub centre to the wheel arch - even being lowered 30mm on 18s. Why exactly couldn't they measure that?

They said because its so low -45mm that the machine couldnt get a reading between the wheel centre and arch, im as confused as you are. I got a feeling they didnt want to do it.

Hmm, -45mm is rather low and maybe out of scope/range for the machine? Obviously they can still physically measure the hub centre to arch distance no matter how much it's lowered, but it could be that measurement is out of range of their equipment/software? Maybe worth clarifying?

Was it a place using Hunter equipment or something else?

Given your postcode I'm assuming it was F1 Tyres? (where I went). I can only assume you were out of range for their gear with a 45mm drop?
