    Default Car Road fund licence online.

    Just taxed the car for the next 12 months, but this time did it online.
    What a brilliant idea !!!
    Can't believe i never did it sooner, so easy to do it this way ! No more waiting in line !
    Well done DVLA.

    I have used this method, and also done it by phone ( you just press the keypad, not actually talking to anyone).
    Shame though it is putting the post office out of work though.

    Paying online is great, but there is a £2.50 transaction charge and you have to wait for the Tax Disc to arrive
    I've only done it once, never again
    My local Post Office does Tax Discs, got my last one on a day off
    Didn't even need the V5, which used to be required, only needed the form, the Cert of Motor Insurance, and payment

    £2.50 only applies when you pay by credit card !
    Takes upto 5 days to arrive so if you do it in plenty of time, no issue.

    Yep, we've found it a great boon.

    Just done mine last week - online about 4:45pm on the Monday, arrived in the post Wednesday morning!
