Just experienced my first £70 fill-up and the fuel light wasn't even on. 53 litres at £1.319 for normal diesel at the local Shell (not even v-power!)
when will it end

missus filled up today £45.00 for half a f-in tank
Sharon filled up her Punto the other day, £50, from just above the red....
I put in £59 of Esso 97 Ron (£59 is the limit at the card pay pumps), it was in the middle of the red, and it only filled to 3/4's of the tank! £1.23 a litre
They say it would hit £1.50 by the end of the year. The goverment won't do anything unless forced. The days of cheap fuel are long gone, just wait for the RFL to go up over the next few years.
The yanks have had their gas increase nearly 100% in 2 years, ours was around 93p/ltr 2 years ago. In LV they offer a free gun with every SUV, now theres a reason to get a gas guzzler.
