Default They like it big in Texas

The owner of this boat obviously thought twice about the horrendous $4 a (US)gallon gas price and put it up for sale. 1200 horses on a 35 foot fishing boat........

I asked what the gas mileage was and got the reply "if you have to ask then you can't afford it".

Neither could the previous owner, apparently. No idea of the price.

    Holy Outboards, Batman!

Edit: I think I've seen his problem... fuel leak under one of the motors...

    I was just wondering:

    a) If it has to tow a gasoline barge around

    and

    b) How it floats with all that weight at the back

I think that ridiculous cockpit at the front must compensate - but definitely a case of gallons per mile, not the other way around!

A guy i work with lives out in Phoenix and he asked me one day "did i and a couple of other guy's want to go out to do as bit of wake boarding on his boat" We agreed to pay the fuel for the day.
Well i thought it was a outboard motor like 1 of the above pictured.
Well i had a shock it was a 5.8 litre V8 in this thing. We used 58 gallons that day
Good job fuel in very cheap in the USA

They are whingeing here in this office about gasoline hitting $4 per (us) gallon - until I tell them it's over $10 in UK.

The boss here just got himself a truck that you need stepladders to climb into - he is now a little bit more involved in the oil business than he was beforehand .........

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV here but it still only does 23 mpg
