ohh I don't know, could be worth a shot but they might try saying that there is damage allowing water in from impact etc etc

A lot of Vec lights have gone like that, i've got dead flies in mine too ! LOL

I would think you might have a chance if its inside lens, but if its just on the outside of sealer then possible reject it. That was how it worked when I worked in a Honda Dealership uptill leaving earlier this year.

Just thinking, how old is the car ? and is that classed as a body fitting which isn't covered after the first 12 months I had a fight with them along these lines when I got the "chrome" window strips changed.

If the car is older then year then no it won't be covered as that will be classed as a body fitting so only covered for the first 12 months.

No harm in giving it a shot, you never know - but expect them to say no.

There are a few threads about mouldy rear lights and mine are the same.

I don't think water enters the light cluster itself so shouldn't cause any problems, its just a bit of a water trap causing mildew to form.

I doubt warranty would cover it, they might just try using a jet washer on it. Someone on here took his lights out and put clear Silicone round the seam which sorted it.
