93-SS owners not only have Stages 2 and three, they have 4 and 5!!

I sent an e-mail to BSR (Sweden) recently on this very subject.....

    My question

I have the Stage 1 for the Opel Signum 2.0T

Can you tell me when you may have the Stage 2, or even 3, for this engine? I notice that the Saab 9-3SS 2.0T has had up to Stage 5 for some time and yet they share the same engine and Trionic 8 ECU.

Is there a reason why it hasn't been developed for the Signum/Vectra?

    Their reply

BSR: We are sorry to say that we can´t give you any information of this project
for the moment, please se more information later on on our homepage.

    Best regards /BSR

That to me means they're working on it and is possibly going to be launced shortly? Stage 2 doesn't exist anymore - it was something like an extra filter and exhaust (can't recall) and gave a few bhp more to Stage 1 but cost £300 odd more! So you now jump from Stage 1 to 3 on that engine.

I can't see any prices on the BSR UK site - even after I registered. Think I'll give them a call tomorrow as I'd like to see if they do any upgrade process i.e. upgrade from Stage 1 to 3 and just pay the difference between them for example.

will be interesting to see if bsr are going to make more stages available for the 2.0t.will be a bit of a downer thought if you cant upgrade from stage one without starting from scratch.i for one would like more power but if its stupid money then i wont bother.i have just ordered a k&n panel filter so i'll see what difference if any that makes.

When I looked at prices before on the Swedish site (without adding their stupendous 25% VAT!) it was about £1,200 for Stage 3!! . If you could 'upgrade' from 1 to 3 then it would make it around £740!

£740 odd quid for an extra 30bhp - on top of the 30 from Stage 1. Hmmm.

I'd like to see what the UK BSR pricing is!

Spoke to a guy in BSR when I was looking at the Vec. as I was tempted by the 2.0T after my Saab 9-5 2.3 Turbo.

But another company has something better up its sleeve. Using a hybrid based TD04 Mitsubishi turbo and a reprogrammed engine management system they are producing 240bhp+. But still under development. Of course you can go higher though
