    Default New Key

I'm in need of a new key, My central locking has stopped working.

Don't fancy paying the £115 that Vauxhall quoted me.

How can I get around this? I've seen keys on ebay but can anyone recut + reprogram them?

    Thanks,

    Craig

    £115? they're taking you for a ride!

List price is about £35 for the key, £20 for programming and £15 for cutting... You shouldn't pay more than about £70, which is still ridiculous...

Try putting the key in the ignotion. turn it on so the dash lights are on, but not the engine, then press either the open or close button on the key, if the door buttons pop up and down you should find the key will now open and close the doors by pressing the button on the key fob.
