    Default

if the paint feels rough it doesn't need claying....

it needs flatting again, to 1500 grit, then superfine scotching, then compunding..

it's poor paint finishing thats the problem, and clay won't sort that out

    Default im a sprayer

ok mate forget what they told ya its rubbish, you need to mop it with a cutting compond then a hand glaze after that will remove the over spray wet&dry will probs do more damage than good if you dont know what your doing its mainly used to take out imperfections. clay is used for drawing out the dirt best way is wash your car then clay it with a detailer then polish and wax but only when you got your paint perfect.
1.make sure you got a good mop
2.keep it moving and wet(or you will burn the paint)
3.make sure you wipe ALL the cutting compond off before hand glaze
4.DONT use mop with hand glaze (u will get swirls)
hope this helps im a aerospace paint sprayer im not telling you a load of bull you could damage the paint rather than save it

Yes, you should. The clay removes any polish or wax protecting the paint so requires renewing.
