    Default Differences between 120 & 150 CDTI

1/ 150 has a CDTI badge the 120 is just CDTI
    2/ 120 is an 8v engine 150 is 16v
3/ At the rear of the engine there are 2 silver pipes which lead to the intercooler. If they are routed over the top of the engine (under the plastic cover ) then it is a 120. if they go round to the right hand side of the engine and run along the front then its a 150 hp

number 3 would suggest they run different intercoolers then with the 150 having a large frount mount intercooler than you can see between the rad and the aircon heat exchanger.

    Question

Not exactly sure on the point of this thread, but looking at the pics you can add that the oil filler cap is in a different place!

They had it the other way round - Red TI and 150 on the V5, when they where serviced they were told they where 120's, and all the info from Vx confirmed it (Engine no.s, etc).

Not sure if they have a claim under the 'sale of goods act' as the garage is no longer in business.

I think they changed the boot badges and failed to show the V5 at the time of purchase.
