    Default Cars who'd have em

Nice day today and karen feeling a bit better so we decided to go for a drive from fife up north and decided to take her wee clio asit does 65-70 mpg.
Going along though aberfeldy in perthshire the car started to lose power so i pulled over and switched off then started up again. All seemed well so we went on to next village to stop and have our sarnies. Then the fun began. Tried to start the car and nothing happened, no glow plug light (its a diesel), we tried the battery charger and got nothing so decided it was time for the RAC. They said it may be 90 mins due to where we were then called to say it would be later so after 2.5 to 3 hrs they arrived and took a look. 45 mins and a lot of different attempts later and the car still wouldnt start so we had to get towed. Unfortunately its a basic cover so they would only tow 10 miles and wouldnt let us upgrade so being over 90 miles from home we seemed to be a bit stuffed.
The driver was quite good as he was contracted out and took us back t services on the main A9 (more than the 10 miles away) so that we could arrange pick up easier and get food etc.

This is now 7pm and karens brother is a manager of a quick fit so he calls in a mate (a mechanic) to bring his recovery vehicle to tow us home and her brother in law set out to pick us up. they arrive at 9pm open the bonnet shoogle a few wires, close the bonnet and turn the ignition to release the steering lock to push onto the truck and guess what.....

yep the ****ing car starts first time

    UN BE FERKIN LIEVABLE.

I am just home and am gobsmacked that we have had to waste all that time and drag all of them all that way.

French cars have a lot of style and on the surface look good, HOWEVER they are not built for longevity and most of have the build quality of lego under the surface.
