    Default mot & repair

    Well put my siggy in for MOT and replacement anti roll bar bushes got the bill which (was nothing to laugh about) but i had to giggle about the description they had entered as type of car, seemingly i have a..... Vauxhall Irmscher ..ha ha they were going to put the same description on the certificate until i told them ..and had to spell it for them ...what a sad existence some people lead

    Looks like a MoT station that's not using the new system then, all they need to do now is insert the Registration Number and it should list the Vehicle make, model, and chassis number

    Equally, a bit worrying if the tester hasn't yet seen a Signum!

    Thankfully it wasn't ..i might have been better going to vx dealer...told them i wanted timing chain/tensioner and followers all changed ...mmmm he said never done one of those before but there always a first ... i said whoa ...no disrespect but if you've not done one before you ain't practicing on mine... sorry

    Reminds me of the first MoT on my Titanium Silver Vectra B SRI 140
    The tester handed me the certificate and the colour was written as "Gold"
    I pointed out that the colour on the V5 was silver, so he ripped it up and wrote me out another one

    they are using new system ...just a writing pad he had logging mileage and such

    Minimum input is registration number and last six digits of the VIN number, and there are no testing stations still on the old system now
