    Default Green Fingers

My nipper planted some sunflower seeds in a little pot at his Nursery. When I got back off holiday they got quite big and have separated the two that grew into bigger pots, however I know nothing about this kind of stuff, here is a picture of them at the moment.

What do I need to do to keep them alive and growing, he will be so disappointed if they don't survive

    Cheers

    1. Don't let me anywhere near them. I am death to all plant life.
    2. Sun, sun, sun and water.
    3. Stake when they get a bit taller.

I would have thought they should be planted in a sunny area, where they can grow with out restriction as they will grow very tall water regularly and feed now and then. They will need to be supported as they grow to stop them falling over. Hope they do grow well your nipper will be proud of them as they grow taller and taller.

my little lad planted a couple of sunflower seeds at nursery about 4 weeks ago. I just put them in a bigger pot and used some bamboo cane to support them. Will be planting them in the garden in a couple of weeks when we move into the new house. They're about 3 feet tall. Not a very good pic but you get the gist

plant em outside against a wall or fence full sun (south facing wall/fence) keep em moist feed em once a week (baby bio) sit back and watch em shoot up.

as they get to around a meter tall stick a tall cane into the grown and tie them to it.
