    Default Longer starting

    For the past few days the vec hasn't been firing up as well as it normally does. It used to fire up on the first turn of the key after a second ,A few times the past couple days its needing a second turn of the key to fire up ...anyone any ideas plz thanks.

    It may sound daft but when was it last serviced ?????

    It may just be a case of time for some new plugs and filters (dont forget the fuel filter)

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    I read in the user manual that you shouldnt depress the clutch when starting as it drains power for some reason and could cause it not to start???????? Probably zero help that was it....nevermind.

    No still using the same fuel supplier, gonna try new fuel filter, and will get some new spark plugs fitted as i cant see any being changed in the sevice history.....btw what are the best spark plugs to get?...thanks

    just wondering if this has something to do with the car kangarooing in low revs..got it booked for a tech 2 tomorrow hope i get some codes or i am gonna be chasing a ghost..things i have done so far-replaced lambda nope/cleaned maf sensor nope/checked for vacuum leaks no no no ...cars great aint they!

    Depressing clutch is advised in manual under cold conditions as it reduces strain on the starter (ie not turning gearbox too)
