Default dodgy main push button on climate control?

    hello all,

apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, couldn't find anything in the search option about this though...

my main rotary dial for my climate control is a bit hit and miss when you push it in - i.e push to get a/c menu up, then push again to check / uncheck option boxes etc...

it sometimes works ok, and on other times needs a few presses for this to work...

does anyone / has anyone got anything similar...

hopefully this'll be covered in the warranty i got with my car if it has failed..!!

any help, as ever, gratefully received...!!!

Never had the problem but warranty should cover it I'd have thought. If all else fails maybe pop the CC unit out and give the switch contact a good spray with contact cleaner.

I have the same problem, but unfortunately my warranty has expired

Any ideas how much a new unit could cost, and how easy is it to fit?
