Default replacement aerial base/ info required

The rubber cup on the base of my aerial is looking rather perished so i have decided to replace it.
Now i have been looking through various section,s and how to to try and find out what is the best way to remove the roof lining on my signum . mine has the canoe installed down the centre line
Q1 Do i need to remove the canoe, and how is that best done
Q2 Do i need to remove all of the headlineer to access antenna mount,or is there an easy way to access aerial mount .

    thanks in advance
    regards bob

Q1 - No, no need to remove the overhead storage.
Q2 - you just need to drop the headlining from the back. You'll probably/possibly need to remove the rear grab handles to let you drop the headliner that bit further, then you'll see the nut holding the base on.

Bob, Andy L is the man to ask, he has changed his roof lining in his facelift to the one like ours with the cubby holes in.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
