Default Please take 30 seconds to send a message to Gordon Brown

[FONT='Times New Roman','serif']Last Friday the people of Ireland voted to reject the Lisbon Treaty.

But politicians across Europe are refusing to accept the result. They arrogantly insist that the Treaty must go ahead anyway. Despite the no vote, the UK Government is planning to carry on regardless, and ratify the Treaty in the House of Lords on Wednesday.

This is part of an attempt to isolate and bully the people of Ireland.

Please take 30 seconds to send a message to Gordon Brown by signing the petition on the Downing Street website.

Tell Gordon to respect the verdict of the Irish people - and drop the Treaty.

    Many thanks

I don,t know why they bother with a vote if they take no notice of it in the end.

All the things I want to say to Gordon Brown couldn't possibly be said in 30 seconds! I've signed, though.

Haven't you heard GB is deaf, in both ears, his eyesight has also failed and he has fencebutt as well, fencebutt is when someone knows something needs doing but does nothing, he's a disgrace, and I wonder how much of his poor management hampered TB if at all that is, I think it's time all the MP's were subject to investigation, lets see where the money has come from for houses cars etc, on recent reports I'd say there is a case to be heard and if they all get banged up and it disgraces the country so be it.

ITS A ****ING joke, I'm a hard working parent now with a mortgage paying taxes, and I'm getting shafted by the government for being me I can't even claim tax credits now I have a son, If I was born oversea's it would be a different story, free house, free money,

How many of you - whether you are against the treaty or for it - actually know what's in it? If you're campaigning against it, do you know specifically what it is you are objecting to, other than a vague notion of "Europe taking our sovereign powers"?

How many of the people campaigning FOR it have actually read it.

The vote says everything about the European experiment. Vote 'No' and we'll just keep having votes until you vote yes.

If you vote 'Yes' than that's it. Job done. Those against don't get a second chance.

The European public have been allowed to vote three times on the constitution/treaty (same thing) and they voted against every time. The Politicians are in it for themselves. They don't give a sh*te about you and me.
