    Default ebay advice

i won an item on ebay 2 days ago for collection only,i got it at a real bargain only 99p no bids, only mine (should be worth about £25)
since winning the auction i have sent 4 emails asking for there address and when i can collected but i am getting no response.
i think maybe now they dont want to let it go for 99p and they are just ignoring my emails.
my question is what are my options because if i leave negative feedback will they be able to do the same(i remember something about new ebay rules regarding feedback)
i hate it when people do this, why not put a reserve on it or a starting bid if they dont want to sell it for 99p
i would just leave it as i cant be bothered getting negative feedback through no fault of my own but i dont want it to go unnoticed either.

yeh i could do, i think they get 3 chances though and then there account is closed, im not that bothered really about the item its more the fact that some people think they can get away with it to do it again.

Sometimes, though, they are just away for a couple of days - I've got to the same stage and then it's all come right.

yeh i am going to wait a few more days although it seems strange to advertise your item then go away knowing its collection only (but it happens i suppose)
would rather not leave negative feedback if it will ruin my 260 100% feedback because of 1 idiot.
i will have to try and find these new rules regarding feedback , it must be on ebay somewhere.

The E-bay rules have changed so the seller cannot leave negative feedback anymore.

What changes are being made to the eBay Feedback system?

There are five key elements to the new Feedback system being introduced in the first half of 2008:

    1. Buyers and sellers will be able to earn up to one Feedback per week from the same trading partner. Today, members may only affect each other's Feedback scores one time, regardless of the number of transactions between the parties. This change will both encourage repeat transactions and reward good service.
    2. Sellers will no longer be able to leave negative or neutral Feedback for buyers. This change will be introduced in May, 2008.
    3. Removal of negative and neutral Feedback left by members who are suspended or who fail to respond to the Unpaid Item Process (UPI).
    4. Positive Feedback percentage will be based on the past 12 months of Feedback, rather than lifetime, since it is most indicative of the seller's recent performance.
    5. Restrictions on when Feedback can be left:
    * Buyers must wait three days before leaving negative or neutral Feedback
    * Instead of 90 days, members will be able to leave Feedback for 60 days

Give it a few days. My missus went into hospital to have a baby, kind of made what I had for sale on ebay not quite so important.
