Default Tonight Im going to Bond My Estate Boot Spoiler !! Any Tips ?

Tonight i plan on bonding my Estate Roof Spoiler on
Any Tips or Suggestions as to best practice ETc ??

It is a Geniune Irmscher one, But still is not a perfect Shape/fit, It curls up on the Narrowest part either end (Narrow bit that sit's next to the C-Pillar) & will more than likely need weighting down...
    Cheers

    Do you have garage?

You could leave the boot open and put a tension strap around the spoiler and boot and leave over night.

First make sure the bonding agent you have is OK IE not gone all ready mine had
Plenty of masking tape to hold it in position.
Just stick plenty of bonding agent on as it will not be coming off anyway.
Good luck and plenty of it.

Yes. I do have a Garage, The Estate just sneaks in

I'll check the Irmscher Bonding has not gone off !! Although i do have a new tube of Tiger seal !! I was concerned that the spoiler would end up lifting before cured & the have a Mighty gap for Small Rodents to nest in

    Cheers

I don't think it will curl up to make a mouse house. LOL
Genuine Irmscher stuff fit's very well and you should have no issue's. Just stick plenty of tape on it to hold it.

Just be careful that its not taped down to tightly over the centre brake light position otherwise your rear wiper might catch it when it sweeps past (like mine did after we fitted it).

    Cheers for all the Tips...

Well it's on, WHat a Job, The Irmscher sealent had gone off, It was just a Black Rubber Sausage

I had to Enrole the help of the Mrs & there was Tiger sealent everywhere !!

Cleaned it up as best as possible, Taped it down & pray that once the tape is off & we hit the 1st corner the Spoiler does not overtake us !

    Cheers
