    Default AFL washer Jets

    Quick question anyone...

I have the AFL and washer jets as post states..

Now to those that do not have this, the washer jets are "Hidden" behind little panels that spring out, now my left hand one constantly stays open, Ie not returning...

    Anybody else had this problem?

I took into the useless VX garage, as per usual, "NFF" was given, this incidentally was to part with £50 having a blockage removed, OK so they can ast least solve this miniscule propblem... with non closing headlamp washer....NFF given

No.. Im not suprised, "NFF" must be the most common letters used in the entire VX dealership system, I am suprised they do not have a NFFRTY keyoard rather then a QWERTY Keyboard,it would of course make sense, "Not Found Fault, Return To You"

Either way, due for another extortionate service, so this time I will leave damned thing "Open", drag some stuck up service Rep. to view it, whilst pointing out this is the 2nd time this has been in...

Now who wants to have a gamble?? 1:2 says they say, "OK Fault" or 3:1 they fix it?

I also incidentally popped in, to possibly buy the new Astra SoftTop, g8, suited me to the ground, no Auto possible...but never mind, after discount, £26k Hmmm OK so your cars drop in value like a stone, what you gonna give me for mine, (1½ Yr Old, 3:00 CDTI All options, as new conditon? £9k) Hmm, as a fleet buyer my obvious response was....polite Enuff said

Oh yeah, I will be taking it back to Frosts of Shoreham... , unless anyone can suggest Caffyns in Brighton as better... I do hope so, a decent VX dealer hard to find these days, or I might take it to Redditch....

Both my headlight washers started to do this, they would stay open by 1/2" or so.
I got some grease, pulled the washer out as far as it would go, then smeared a bit of the grease around the piston type thing that extends, and worked it in and out a bit.
    Good as new.
    Hope this helps.
