    Default Drop links

A few weeks ago I had the front left drop link replaced and it cured the knocking noise I was getting over speed bumps. Now two weeks later the noise has come back. The drop links seems to be a common problem but surely they should last more than two weeks? Is this something I should just ignore or is there anything that can be done to cure this permanently? Do after market suspension kits avoid this or is there a mod that can be done? Maybe the new link has just come loose... Its still under warranty so I want to get it sorted now while it won't cost me anything

    Thanks

Think I'll give them a ring tomorrow and get them to take a look again. As I say, it was completely silent over bumps for the last 2 weeks then its back again. My old Vectra B had the same problem and I just lived with it eventually. Other cars don't seem to have these problems all the time, especially on a year old car...

    Angry Drop links - c**p?

On my Nov 55 Signum 2.2 auto the 1st set of drop links started to get noisy at 13,000 miles, and were replaced under warranty at 17,000. This 2nd set is now starting to present the same old knocking niose at 28,000 miles. And being of bus pass age I don't hurtle over speed bumps at 60 mph. No wonder GM is worth less than the Kellogg cereal company ?
