    Default Begining to wonder if my car has had the proper Network Q check

    wipers smear at front
    washer jets don't aim properly at front



    so couple that with the lack of service and the broken arm rest my buying experiance has been a let down. to top it off brake light warning has come on

    Silly question but are your wipers clean? try vinegar
    washer jets-the alignment isn,t checked on net q- so longs as they all work and hit the screen
    the brake warning light - vectra,s are quite common for needing brake sensors

    the dealer i work at we keep a record of the net q check in the cars file, which is the point check given to the techie to fill in
    worth asking your dealer if they have this.

    Have you carwashed it recently? Sounds like the sort of smear you get off the sh!tty waxes they use in carwashes...

    hi all, new to site but here goes. bought 04 vectra 4 weeks ago and already had new clutch fitted not under warranty told clutch out of warranty after 6k mile could that be right. also need some advice on finding a deal on dvd sat nav indash any advice or thoughts welcome

    My car had numerous squeaks and rattles, smearing wipers, water instead of cleaning solution in the washers, low oil level (level sensor went off the day after I picked it up), broken ashtray, three scuffed alloys and a load of stonechips.

    Evidently none of their alleged 114 points cover any of these faults...

    I did buy it through the trade but it was on his forecourt when he sold it to me, and it had been a demonstrator...

    from what i can gather the network q check is what it says...."a check", not a service. I think the words "check and replace if necessary" come to mind...I will stand corrected if anybody knows otherwise. Ive also noticed that to register in my name is gonna cost £25....cheeky b*****s..its got another 7 months to go so I suppose its in my best interests. Sorry to hear that your buying experience was bad....but I think its few and far between that we are all perfectly satisfied these days, and since we are paying the wages of vx employees, we should get what we want..and have paid for.

    Sounds familar!! I picked up my car last week and Mark had a look over, the service had not been done for a start. Mark has since serviced it, the wipers have been changed and when I put some CDs in the autocharger the door fell off, but they are sorting that.

    I think that may be they lose count and give up half way through.

    Brakes are covered under network q...but it could be just a sensor gone.
