    Default V6 Veccy-B to Oil fired Veccy-C

    Hello All,

I just wanted to say hi.

I have had a 2.5 V6 Veccy-b for the last 5 years (some familiar faces on here from Vectra-sport.com days...) it was a brilliant car, but now has gone.

Last week she was swapped for a CDti Breeze edition. Can't believe I haven't had to fill up yet, would have been on my third tank with the old one

    Cheers

    Welcome mate. Enjoy!

You won't regret that move at all. What version of the 1.9 CDTi do you have mate, the 120 or 150?

Many thanks all for the welcome.

I ended up getting the 120 version mainly because it was the right car at a very good price. Also the main reason for changing was MPG, I do about 100 miles a day to work and back. So the car on the motorway was a good compromise I think. I also have to be very careful with my licence since having the V6 so I thought I would be less drawn into temptation.......

I miss the old V6 but for criusing up and down the motorway the new one is wonderful. Couple of things will take a while to get used to: the size the new one feels SO big, also my old one was lowered 40mm on H&R suspension so I feel like I'm in a 4x4 wobbling around bends, but maybe I will address that soon

    Cheers
