    Default CDTi 150 Gear Ratios

Hi Folks, Does anyone know the exact gear ratios for a F40 box in my 1.9 CDTi 150. I need to know this to do a chassis dynamometer run on my laptop. I believe the final drive ratio was 3.55 on these models. I'm going to run the dyno in 3rd gear as this is about the ideal one to try. Going to do a series of dyno runs before trying a tuning box. Have weighed the car today at 1640kgs and worked out the frontal area, but all info will be gladly received.
    Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, I assume the 2.0T will be using a F40 box due to the extra torque. Gear ratio for 3rd was about what I was expecting. Thanks again. Will post details as soon as I get some good runs.

    yes thats right
but on the diesel there are different box on the
    1.9 cdti (120)-F40/WR/E9

    1.9 cdti (150)-F40/WR/F1

    3.0cdti (177)-F40/WR/F2

    2.0T -F40/SR/??

so they are all F40 must be diff raton to do with the torque

I can't see that the petrol 2.0T would have the same final drive ratio as the diesels as that would give about 32mph/1000 revs. Way too low revving for a petrol.

2.0T does use the F40, but it's the Close Ratio box - diesels use the Wide Ratio.
